One year later we had a iron bleed through spot they agreed to repair even though they made it very clear it was a defect not covered by warranty. Now one year later I have another iron bleed through spot. (2 in 2 years). I am willing to pay for this repair (I am more comfortable with the company that did the replaster doing the repair) but they will not do the repair. Their exact response was "they are too busy doing bigger jobs to do such a small job." I find it very disappointing they were very accommodating when I was paying them thousands of dollars but when it is a small repair "they dont have time." In addition, we have had multiple spots and discoloring of the plaster. It simply has not stood up. I would not recommend BND plastering, they were decent when thousands of dollars are part of the plan but quickly turn their back when the profit isn't there in a small repair.Posted on Christina SotoTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had our pool replastered by BND Pools five years ago, and from the start, we noticed white etching and spotting. When we contacted the company, they assured us it was normal, but the issues only got worse. They suggested that our water was too active and that was the cause of the problems. My husband, who is pool certified, tests our pool water every week and Leslie's Pool checks it twice a year. We have saved the records. We felt that their explanation was just an excuse to avoid taking responsibility for the poor work. Now, five years later, we drained the pool to change the water and can clearly see the extent of the damage. According to information we found white spots in a replastered pool are typically caused by improper plastering techniques. This may include adding too much calcium chloride to the plaster mix, too much water during troweling, late hard troweling, or using a wet trowel. These issues can lead to porosity in the plaster, allowing calcium salts to leach out and create visible white spots, also known as "spot etching." Unfortunately, we now have to pay out of pocket to have the pool redone. It’s incredibly disappointing that a company with such a long history would treat its customers this way. They should take responsibility for their mistakes instead of passing the blame onto the customer.Posted on Liz ReynoldsTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Worst company ever.Posted on Randy BeardTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Vetting Swimming Pool plastering companies is rough. I had a great experience with Lisa in the office. I would not risk using anyone else in this valley.Posted on Anthony MiceliTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had a great experience, many times we had to be flexible and they were always willing to work with us and our renovation schedule. Great finished product!Posted on stellaTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. WOW! These people were great to work with. Our pool was 23 years old. It had been maintained but it was pretty tired and dated looking. Our pool guy recommended this company and we are thrilled. Craig, the salesperson knows his stuff and was a great guide to design decisions. Jackhammered in one day, a week later the tile went in. AJ and his crew were wonderful. Beautiful job. Power wash, then a week later they came in and the water is going into the pool after 3 weeks. There was excellent communication on a daily basis and the site was cleaned up and safe after each visit. I think it paid to have the job done in December ! Nonetheless i would HIGHLY recommend using this company. Thank you all!Posted on S MiklovichTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We have tried numerous times to get ahold of someone. Nobody ever responds. Told by the girl in the office someone would call back and nothing. Do you not honor your warranties 0r are you waiting until our warranty to expire?! So now we are contacting the registrar of contractors and bbb. Had pool replastered and it looks horrible!
